It was ok, but the hit detection for the spikes that stop you is really kinda bad.

RELEASING FLASH ON ANOTHER SITE BEFORE IT'S RELEASED HERE?
GAY.

BUT MONIES

Great game, but look out for the little kids who say that "You're copying Toss the Turtle and Homerun in Berzerk Land! OMGOMGOMGOMG."

Seriously, they will be there.

Yeah, but there are also those who enjoy the game for what it is, and that's all that really matters.

Shiny new RoR update. You know the majority of it since I already told you, but it has some important points.

I'll play your game when I have some time. Good job.

RELEASING FLASH ON ANOTHER SITE BEFORE IT'S RELEASED HERE?
GAY.

BUT MONIES?

Is that a pixel cannon in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

A bit of both :3

THE OVERLORD HAVE COME ( TO TELL YOU TO NOT SERVE ON BUBBLBOX ) TO KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!

It's coming out on Newgrounds today!

So you did remove it? I hope things go better for you next time. :(

I removed it. It dropped too low for my standards.

Pixel Launch was a good game but to be seriously it had a lot in common with Toss the Turtle even if is the same genre, it would be better if have more kinds of obstacles and remove some pac-mans, sometimes the gameplay just goes ridiculous because you give a shoot and after 2 seconds you loose because the pac-man. Also, put a long-lenght gameplay, I won Toss the Turtle around 1~2 months, I won Pixel Launch around 40 minutes in a single day. My suggestion is you do the enemies boost you, not reduce your speed, on a toss game, it is because this why you have the obstacles, are to boost you :)

It wasn't really a game I intended to make, anyway. HDXmike came up with the idea and asked me to finish it for him. So I didn't really mind that it was somewhat of a failure on Newgrounds.

I got a ton of cash out of it, at least.

I have to agree with Spysociety above. I hate to break it to you, but the game was just way too similar to Toss the Turtle. The whole launching thing might be a game genre but the game mechanics and even some of the animations (like the screen showing up from the above at the end of a round) were just too resemblant. As a matter of fact, I also think that Toss the Turtle was a big source of inspiration for Mike for the making of this game. He just made it too similarly.

Good luck on any future projects you strive for. However, it still doesn't really feel right to me that you removed the game. 3.20 isn't bad at all, at least for me it isn't. When I got that score the first time (and so far the only time, with Hitman Quiz), the pride I felt was priceless. That kind of a score seemed bad and insufficient for you simply because you are used to 4.00s and so forth.

As for the lack of any sense of accomplishment you feel, I can understand your thoughts pretty well. I'm still in the dark about how exactly you contributed to the game (besides its "epicness") but you still contributed. My point of view is that, on the contrary, one should be able to feel a stronger sense of accomplishment for collaborating for a product, than the amount of accomplishment s/he feels for producing something single-handedly. Reasons? First of all, nothing beats the team spirit. Second, it always feels good to be that missing puzzle piece for the other person, knowing that you're completing their weakness with your strength. Third, collaborations bring people closer together, otherwise why would teachers organize group work in class every day? Fourth, doesn't it just feel good to help?

Sorry for the amount of length and redundancy of the comment, but it's only because I care about you and strive to help you do better, for that's the least I can do in return of all the good deeds you have done to me.

I agree that it was similar to, but not identical to, Toss the Turtle.

I pretty much just fixed up Mike's code and added new content, explaining my lack of enthusiasm for its release.

Also, collaborations and solo projects offer two different feelings, both equally valuable to me.

Hey Ben, sorry for change the subject here but I really need to ask. So, I was always on your Newgrounds Radio but suddenly it just stopped to work, a month or two ago I think, I never managed anymore to do that work, isn't my network or something, my network is the same I was using when it worked, like he don't plays the song he just don't stop to keep randomizing the integers from the ID type box, even if I keep pressing the play button or pressing the favorites in a case to do he don't change and such, don't work. I tried pop-up mode and still don't work. :'(

Your connection is too slow, and it is timing out while trying to load songs.

There is a guy here who's scared of Windows Doors. :))

Haha, that's hilarious.

Happy 5,800 post. Thought it was a milestone.

6,800 would be a better milestone. B]

But thanks.

New update hot from the oven. I know you wanted cookies instead, but sorry Sabrina, we are out of milk.
